Agreement
By accessing or using this Twitch Extension, you agree to this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.
License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use this extension through Twitch for its intended purpose. You do not receive ownership of the extension, its code, assets, systems, digital content, or related services.
Purpose of the Extension
This extension allows viewers to use predefined Extension buttons to trigger saved SAMMI button events for on-stream digital interactions. The Extension-defined viewer action is limited to triggering a predefined SAMMI button event.
Broadcasters may configure which saved Extension buttons are shown and which SAMMI trigger name each button maps to. Viewers cannot define custom actions, submit custom text, submit custom payloads, create custom items, or request custom experiences through the Extension.
Power
The extension may include digital content referred to as Power. Viewers may use Twitch Bits within the extension to unlock Power for extension interactions. Power is available only inside this extension, is specific to the broadcaster channel where it was unlocked, and may be used only for available streamer-configured interactions on that channel.
- Power is digital content for use only inside this Twitch Extension.
- Power is channel-specific and does not carry over between different broadcaster channels.
- Power has no cash value, is not legal tender or cryptocurrency, and is not a financial product.
- Power has no real-world monetary value.
- Power cannot be withdrawn, transferred outside the extension, transferred between channels, sold, traded, or redeemed for cash.
- Power does not represent ownership of property or any monetary entitlement.
- Use of Twitch Bits is handled by Twitch and is subject to Twitch’s own terms and policies.
Failed Interactions
If an interaction cannot be delivered because the broadcaster’s SAMMI connection is unavailable, the extension may restore the related Power where technically possible. Availability of this behavior may depend on the extension state, backend availability, and broadcaster configuration.
Acceptable Use
- Do not abuse, exploit, overload, reverse engineer, tamper with, or interfere with the extension.
- Do not attempt to bypass limits, duplicate Bits events, manipulate Power totals, or fake interaction activity.
- Do not use configured interactions to send harmful, illegal, abusive, hateful, harassing, or privacy-invasive activity.
- Do not use the extension in a way that violates Twitch rules, broadcaster rules, or applicable law.
- Do not misuse the extension to disrupt the broadcaster, their stream, viewers, SAMMI setup, or backend services.
- Do not configure SAMMI triggers for real-world goods or services, off-Twitch benefits, monetary value, donations, financial support, money transmission, contests, sweepstakes, gambling, wagering, specific music-track requests, or prohibited content.
- Do not use Power, Extension buttons, or SAMMI triggers as a marketplace, reward system for goods or services, donation mechanism, stored-value product, or cash-equivalent product.
- Do not use the Extension to create or offer custom viewer-defined items, custom viewer-defined experiences, or free-form viewer requests.
Data Processing
The extension processes limited data needed to operate the service, including Twitch user identifiers, broadcaster identifiers, Twitch usernames where available, button interactions, interaction activity, Power totals, and Twitch Bits usage records. More details are provided in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and Changes
The extension, its backend services, features, button behavior, Power naming, interaction behavior, available functionality, and data retention rules may be changed, limited, paused, renamed, or discontinued at any time.
No Warranty
The extension is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, specific outcomes, availability of SAMMI connections, or availability of any particular feature.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for damages, losses, interruptions, missed actions, failed interactions, incorrect configurations, unexpected stream behavior, data loss, or other issues resulting from use of the extension.
Enforcement
Configured interactions must comply with Twitch's Bits Acceptable Use Policy, Community Guidelines, and Terms of Service. Where they do not, one or more of the following may be applied to the channel concerned, at the developer's discretion and without prior notice:
- An individual configured interaction may be removed. It will no longer be shown to viewers and can no longer be triggered.
- The ability to add new interactions may be withdrawn, while existing interactions continue to work.
- Use of Twitch Bits within the extension may be disabled for the channel.
- The channel's access to the extension may be withdrawn entirely.
Where an interaction is removed, the broadcaster is notified inside the extension and must acknowledge that notice before the configuration can be changed again. The acknowledgement is recorded.
Recreating a removed interaction is a further violation. This includes recreating it under a different name, label, or trigger name where the interaction offered to viewers is substantially the same, and may result in any of the further measures listed above.
Violating interactions may be reported to Twitch, including the channel concerned and the configured content in question.
Termination
Access to the extension may be paused, limited, or terminated if abuse, misuse, technical risk, policy violations, or other harmful activity is detected.
